Abstract

Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) has become a transformative technology for intelligent decision-making by enabling knowledge processing, natural language interaction, reasoning support, and evidence-based information synthesis. Unlike traditional analytical systems, GenAI-driven decision-support systems can generate alternatives, summarize complex information, and assist human decision-makers in uncertain environments [1][2]. This research proposes an evidence-grounded GenAI framework integrating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), validation, decision analytics, confidence assessment, human oversight, and auditability. The proposed approach improves decision reliability by combining AI capabilities with expert supervision and governance controls [3][4]. A design-oriented methodology is adopted to evaluate accuracy, explainability, robustness, fairness, privacy, and governance readiness for future empirical validation.
